I'M A UX/UI DESIGNER
I offer 5 years of experience working full-time with a startup company, ASRV, as a creative professional. My passion for creating innovative solutions has grown to be more efficient over the years through my initiative to learn and implement design thinking and lean UX practices into the business. I believe that any collaboration enhances brand cohesion, workplace morale, and produces unique solutions that one could never achieve on their own. I take pride in the attention to detail I bring to every part of a project while staying within time constraints to meet deadlines. My mission throughout life is to leverage my empathetic and creative abilities to help people. I'm currently available for full-time work.
MY JOURNEY
Working at ASRV, I've had to wear many creative hats. I’ve contributed to many iterations of the company's products, through this experience I have come to notice areas where efficiency could be increased. I witnessed the company grow its number of employees by 500%, which made it harder for everyone in the company to work towards a common goal without implementing a new structure that embraces the growth of a company. I chose to pursue product design when I realized the kinds of problems I was trying to solve were UX problems.
It became clear that incorporating design thinking with facilitated brainstorm sessions was needed to improve all the company's products in the same direction. These practices result in faster iteration cycles, using our number of different views as a strength, and ensuring that all department products are gauged towards solving the same problem statement. These processes also help make faster changes to our problem statement to better fit the user's needs.

CAREER FOUNDRY
I acquired a UI Design certificate from CareerFoundry in JULY ‘20. Which includes over 500 hours of intensive training with industry-leading mentors and tutors. I knew that completing such a course would be essential for me to attain a solid foundation for my career.
DE ANZA COLLEGE
I have acquired an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from De Anza College on Sept. '19. (Relevant Coursework: General Psychology, Public Speaking, Social Problems, and ELEM Stats/Probability)
All three were completed through online classes while I worked a full-time job. I recognize that my ability to complete programs and learn online has always been my strong point. Most people are unmotivated at home and distracted. I thrive because of my ability to zone in on what I want to accomplish, driven by my desire for constant growth. I am confident that I would be an exceptional candidate for any full-time remote UX/UI jobs during this pandemic. I am hopeful of finding a new team that I believe in and can mutually grow with.

DESIGN THINKING
A cognitive, strategic and practical process by which concepts are developed. The ability to perform the process in a non-linear fashion enables quick iteration.
The logo represents what it is like to work with me. The infinite twisting path is symbolic of the iterative design process. There are twists and turns with each iteration that defines innovation. The twisting path revolves around the shape of a water drop. The water drop represents my intentions when I join a new team. Water is essential for all things to thrive. I intend to have the same effect on my team and our users.

MY VIEW ON UX/UI
I believe that the UX/UI community as a whole is what is driving the world to be more efficient. Our purpose is to make anything complex appear simple and intuitive for the user. I’ve stated earlier that my mission throughout life is to leverage my empathetic and creative abilities to help people. I intend on not only helping users but also any team that I join. Making people's lives easier instead of harder is a demonstration of love between humanity. To me, it is a no brainer to fully dedicate my life's contribution to UX/UI.
